Trainees / interns
Suvretta House is a training facility for aspiring chefs (EFZ). We also train interns referred to us by certified hotel management schools.
As a member of The Leading Hotels of the World and of Swiss Deluxe Hotels, we align our daily activities pursuant to Leading Quality Assurance practices.
Our employees are accommodated in the following staff houses:
Chesa Chavaglietta / Chesa Nanin (5 minutes away from hotel)
Chesa Seraina / Chesa Sulai, Champfèr (20 minutes away from hotel)
All bed linens and terrycloth towels are provided and laundered by Suvretta House.
If available, a permanent parking space can be provided in one of our underground garages for CHF 150 per month.
The Time-Out staff restaurant is open as posted and available to our employees. In the winter, it also welcomes the ski instructors of the Suvretta Snowsports School. Our Time-Out kitchen crew will delight you with meals cooked fresh every day.
On the job, you thrill our guests with your commitment, passion, and professionalism. In your spare time, you can enjoy the multifaceted leisure activities that St. Moritz, the Engadine, and the nearby sun-drenched valleys of the Grisons offer you. Incomparable natural surroundings are the perfect settings for sports pursuits in the winter and summer. We will be happy to apply for a residence permit from the community of St. Moritz for you. New employees (EU-27/EFTA nations) must possess valid travel documents.
Wages and salaries are remitted to a Swiss bank account (in CHF). Your choice of banks in St. Moritz: UBS, Graubündner Kantonalbank, Credit Suisse or Postfinance. Basically, cross-border remittances are possible and will be denominated in CHF.
Non-Swiss employees are covered by a collective plan provided by Groupe Mutuel.
Our current mandatory accident insurance coverage is provided by AXA Winterthur.
Our social security agency is HOTELA in Montreux.
