With the 42nd round, the Engadine Summer Run moves to St. Moritz and gets a new name and its own festival village. The “St. Moritz Running Festival” will take place from August 12 – 15 at Ludains, St. Moritz Bad.
In sports circles, St. Moritz is perceived as the training hotspot par excellence in summer. Optimal training conditions, infrastructures and the altitude of 1,856m above sea level form excellent conditions for successful altitude training. The “elite” from the most diverse endurance disciplines meet here. The fact that we are launching a “Running Festival” together with St. Moritz is a coherent conclusion for this sports-loving region,” says President of the Engadiner Sommerlauf Association, Anne-Marie Flammersfeld.
In addition to the previous categories “Engadiner Sommerlauf 25k”, “Muragllauf 11,6km”, “Kids-Race” and “Vertical Sommerlauf 5,5km + 1000hm”, this year there is an additional category: The 3-day stage run (Multi-Stage, 70km). The Festival Village also offers victory celebrations and culinary highlights such as “Dinner for run” or “Patschific au lac”, as well as public yoga sessions on the lake, live music and children´s programs and more. For the whole family, friends, onlookers and bon vivants.
