A summer replete with activities
Take an impressive bike tour on beautiful trails, plunge into a canyoning adventure with slides, jumps, rappels, swimming and wading or experience the Upper Engadine from above in a sailplane. Then again, you might want to undertake a sailboat cruise on Lake Sils. Or perhaps a challenging climb equipped with the best mountaineering gear?
All these professionally guided activities let you forget everyday topics. They are bliss for body and soul, and free of charge for your guests. “Fit and Fun with Suvretta House” is what we call our special summer event programme that includes generous portions of sports, relaxation, and enjoyment. It’s all yours in a unique hands-on world with meadows and forests, natural streams and lakes, rock faces, and glaciers. No special talents or experience are needed to participate in some of the sports disciplines. All you need is eagerness to experience new things.

Golfing in an Alpine paradise
There are three golf courses in the vicinity of Suvretta House. Each one is special in its own way and awaits you with unique challenges. What they share is their location in the midst of an unusual landscape of mountains and lakes. Take advantage of our practice course and the hotel’s driving range to prepare for the real thing, or use the greens in the hotel park to refine your pitches and putts.
“Golf is like a love affair: if you don’t take it seriously, there’s no fun in it; but if you do take it seriously, it breaks your heart,” as a passionate golfer once said. Be that as it may: once you have started golfing, it will never let you get away again.
Would you like to get started? Simply book the beginners’ course or the basic course at the Suvretta Golf School. Additionally, our golf pro is available for private tuition for adults and children. Or how about our special “Putt & Drive” golf package? It perfectly melds the fascination of golfing with the enjoyment of our 5-star hospitality.

A peerless backdrop for tennis
You should have eyes only for the ball while playing, but tennis in front of a spectacular panorama of mountain peaks is a decidedly unique experience. Three well-tended clay courts in front of Suvretta House await you for thrilling matches. Use the ball machine to practise your forehand and backhand, and if you would like to improve a specific aspect of your game, take a few lessons with our pro.
The Upper Engadine offers unlimited opportunities for hiking. The spectrum ranges from leisurely walks across mountain meadows and through spruce forests to easy panorama hikes and demanding mountain climbing tours. Conquer the tops of the famous 3000-metre peaks Piz Nair, Corvatsch or Diavolezza and view the world from above. The Corviglia or Muottas Muragl, well-known scenic mountains, are worth an excursion as well. There’s a nice twist: In the summer, for stays of 2 nights or more, the room rate includes the use of all Upper Engadine resort lifts and the entire public transportation network.
What’s more, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Europe, the Swiss National Park, is not far from St. Moritz and invites you to discover it. For a very special experience, try a guided glacier walk or an escorted tour of the habitat of the chamois and ibex.
