«Klassik Nuevo»-Conzert Sira & Srdjan

Sira & Srdjan are high-class virtuosos on their instruments. They let themselves be inspired by the diversity of classical music and developed it further as their own style, as “Klassik Nuevo”: to the music as it wants to be heard today! Refreshing, colourful, courageous and boundless. This is also the name of their programme, which will be performed at Suvretta House on 08 January 2022.

Sira & Srdjan are “racy” on their instruments: this applies to their bizarre virtuosity on the violin, to his – quite quirky – humour and to the speed with which he takes us on a musical journey around the world.

In a varied programme, Srdjan shows classical music as he sees it: as a source of joy, as an enrichment of our lives – and not least as “a way to lose a few kilograms”.

“Klassik Nuevo” wants to sensitise people to listen to classical music in a new way, because it belongs to all of us. It is of great importance for body and soul, all the more so in a fast-paced and performance-oriented world. Classical music should be brought closer to the younger generation in particular.
