The House of Garrard is an invitation into a world of quintessentially British, timeless, hand-finished jewellery infused with unique narrative.
Proudly known as the longest serving jewellery house in the world, Garrard was established in 1735 when it received the first of many royal commissions. Over 280 years, Garrard have created five of the official British crowns, exquisite royal tiaras and suites of jewellery demonstrating their flawless knowledge for regal excellence.
The fortitude of this great house resides within its philosophy to create beautiful, original jewellery that combines the stories of past, with cutting-edge trends of new. One such collection is the iconic Albemarle that takes inspiration from the ‘Girls of Great Britain and Ireland’ tiara created by Garrard in 1893 and effortlessly transformed into an artistic and decorative modern day collection.
Tudor Rose – Historic, Floral, Delicate
The Tudor Rose collection uses a feminine, floral theme inspired by the heraldic symbol of Great Britain, representing long-lasting union and romance.
The Tudor Rose collection is made up of delicate earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets in 18ct rose, white or yellow gold with white diamonds. Sara Prentice, Creative Director, said: “This collection uses intricate patternwork to depict the beautiful delicacy of the English flower combined with the strong design of the Tudor rose”
The collection varies from more figurative rose motifs to elaborate, scrolling openwork. The more elaborate Tudor Rose Bloom pieces include rose cut diamonds alongside brilliant cut diamonds to create a bold and dramatic statement.
Each piece of beautifully crafted jewellery from the Tudor Rose collection bears the hallmark of the House of Garrard’s meticulous attention to detail, superb British design and a history of sophisticated style.
