Concert with talent Shih-Wei Huang

Experience piano music at the highest level at Suvretta House.

The pianist Shih-Wei Huang, born in Taipei (Taiwan), has been praised by audiences and critics alike as an artist with a poetic and very expressive playing expressive style of playing full of communicative power.

Shih-Wei Huang studied at some of the most prestigious piano faculties of the world’s best conservatories. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree from the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia and holds a Master of Music degree from Yale University.

The artist has received numerous awards, including the Dorothy Mackenzie Artist Recognition Award in Award in New York and the CHIMEI Artist Award. Since the age of 12, Shih-Wei Huang has performed in the USA, Europe and Asia in many of the world’s finest music venues, including the National Philharmonic in Warsaw and Steinway Hall in New York.
